Dress You Up – A true berry mauve which will suit all skin tones and take the lips from day into the night.
Karma Chameleon – A punchy bright hue which bathes the lips in fiery coral tones.
99 Red Balloons – A blue toned red which creates the classic red pout.
Iko Iko – A semi-sheer bronze shimmer which can be applied over other shades for a sultry shimmer.
I bought the Karma Chameleon after watching hundreds of internet swatches ( this is how to decide before buying things u can't see touch) and I have to tell u it's lovely, it stays more than the lipstick and the liptinted conditioner , wish more shades to come hope so ;)
I bought this in Come Undone. I was looking for a perfect nude that wasn't too brown or pink. Researching this colour is was meant to be more peachy and quite universal. Sadly this has arrived and it's not. Much much darker than it seems online and is a muddy terracotta type brown, perhaps suited to someone extremely tanned. The texture of the lip colour is nice though, beware it is a matte finish not a creamy finish as stated! Just wish the colours were more accurate as I've now wasted as I can't use this colour.
Very impressed with this lip crayon in karma chameleon. First tried the Ilia lip conditioner and lipstick, and absolutely loved In My Room / Lady Blossom. They both go on smoothly, hydrate lips and give a lovely perfecting colour. The lip crayon seems just as moist as the lip conditioner, gives a nice sheen, and the Karma chameleon shade is the most incredible coral on me. I generally find it hard to find the right shade of bright liptick. I'm fair with blue eyes, a cool complexion and dark hair. Pastel nudey colours can wash me out, and brights can look too harsh (I find I need to go for warm colours rather than the cool ones I tend to prefer like neon pink). This might just be lipstick bliss, plus it's easy to wear without lipliner, and does not run at all.
Love the creamy texture but the Karma Chameleon is not at all the colour you'd expect from the picture. It's still lovely but more a dark red/pink based lip colour instead of the bright, vibrant coral colour I was hoping for.
I usually buy only Urban Decay (I'm too loyal and lazy to try new things) but I'm glad I bought Dress You Up lipstick crayon from Ilia. It isn't too moist or too dry and the color suits me well, which is rare. I could imagine trying one or two more of these.
