Lacoste Essential has top notes of tomato leaves, citrus, fruity & watery notes. At the heart is black pepper & floral accord including rose notes. Patchouli & sandalwood are at the base. This fragrance is ideal for daytime wear.
Rene Lacoste was not a natural tennis player, but with his drive & determination, he became the worlds top tennis player in 1926 & 1927. On the courts he was given the nickname 'le crocodile' which is where the crocodile symbol originates from. His second career was established in 1933 when he began producing the revolutionary polo shirt that he had been wearing on the courts as opposed to the traditional long sleeved, stiff collared shirts.
