A bright and upbeat perfume, Paul Smith has fruity top notes with a hint of pepper. After that's hit your olfactory nerve, the sweet flowery mid-notes kick in, then leave you with a base of clean, cool woods. Launched in 2000, it's a likeable fragrance.
Paul Smith's real passion was sport and his ambition was to become a professional racing cyclist, until aged 17 years, when he was in a terrible accident which led to six months in hospital. During this time he made new friends, who inspired him to become a part of the creative world. Within two years, Paul Smith was managing his first boutique in Nottingham and with the encouragement of his girlfriend Pauline Denyer (now wife), opened a tiny shop in 1970. By 1976 Paul showed his first menswear collection in Paris under the Paul Smith label. His popular fragrances include Paul Smith Extreme, & Paul Smith London.
