Very moisturising; great for looser curl patterns
I have fine 3c/4a afro hair. I usually use the Coconut Curling Cream which works fantastically on moisturising and defining my tight curls. I tried this one when it was unavailable and I find it not to work as well for me. It is definitely very moisturising and does help to define my curls, so it is still a good product; it just takes much longer to work into my hair strands and has less hold and thus, gives less definition than CCC. I would recommend it for people with a looser hair texture than mine.

Cantu is an excellent brand
Cantu is definitely an excellent brand. My hair suffers from frizziness, dryness and flat curls. My friend, who has excellent curls, recommended Cantu to me so I bought a bunch of products during the sale not really having my hopes high because I have been really disappointed with recommended (and not recommended) products in the past. I have had a lot of negative coments on my hair especially given my new job which requires a neat and tidy appearance (they don't mind the curls, but they do mind the frizziness and the fact that it looks like a bird's nest most of the time even though I have product in it) My main concern is that the product does it job with minimal effort and doesn't break the bank. Even without the sale, I do believe Cantu is a super affordable brand. I have used this hydrating curling cream both in combination with another Cantu product and as a standalone and I am super impressed. It does it's job and I have actually had people comment on how nice my hair has been looking!
