I purchased the FOREO Espada 2 plus device a bit less than a month ago, and have been using it for around 2 weeks.
The precise light guide itself is quite small (you get exactly what you see in the pictures), hence making it a perfect device to treat small, curved, and hard-to-reach areas like around the nose, or right below the eyebrow. It al

NOW FOR THE RESULTS-
IT ACTUALLY WORKS. I have a perpetually red, oily and flaky skin, especially in my T zone area. And to make things worse- I'm a compulsive skin-picker. When I use this consistently- the tiny bumps and blemishes I have are significantlly less visible/gone, and THE REDNESS REDUCESS DRAMATICALLY. pore size reduced significantly as well.
It also helps me to pick less! I find it to be a pleasant, calming, sensory-stimulating process (it gives you a similar sensation of "fixing" your skin as picking does) and it treats the skin in the most gentle way, without causing purging or peeling that triggers more picking like other products may do.
HOWEVER, the surface is the light guide is small, and you have to hold it in place for 30-60 seconds. Even though it has the advantage to effectively reach tricky places, when you treat even a relatively small area, lets say- the just the nose for example- it easily adds up to at least 10-15 minutes of thorough treatment.
Personally- I like to go over ALL of my problematic areas, I do it before I go to sleep while being in bed and scrolling through my phone, and the whole thing takes me about 30 minutes at max.
Also, I'd like to note that the device does not have a timer like I assumed and you have to count the time by yourself. Moreover, It turns off automatically after 3 minutes of use, which is annoying in longer treatment sessions.
I also find myself charging the device quite a bit, compared to my Luna 4 mini... The Espada device runs out off battery after like 2 days of use, so don't expect it to last months and months like their Luna devices.
It is a pricy device, so my expectations were high. It defiantly does the work, but the treatment process itself can get rather tedious.
I would recommend this to anyone who has small areas of concern, in places that a traditional LED device wouldn't be able to reach and treat effectively. IT DOES WORK, but you have to be USING IT CONSISTENTLY.
If you suffer from blemishes on larger areas of the face, or are impatient with your skincare routine- I would suggest going for the regular Espada, or another LED device that has larger active area surface. إقرأ أقلRead less about review stating Small but mighty - ByeBye pores!
