Get The Look: Colour Pop

Nothing says spring like a pop of colour, and while we know there’s nothing like a simple neutral eye, we’re officially voting for colour this spring.

This look is all about sharp lines and geometric shapes in bright, bold colours, and we’re so here for it.

Thankfully, this trend is super easy to follow, and with just one or two staple products, can be easily achieved at home. Scroll to discover Aqsa’s (@itsxaqsa) take on the trend with a foolproof, step by step tutorial.

Step one: inner corner

After applying an eye base to your eyes, take the shade River Deep from the By BEAUTY BAY Retro Love Palette and apply to the inner corner of your eyes, extending it to the bridge of your nose and brow.

Step two: lilac lid

Take the shade L.O.V.E and pack it onto your lids all the way to the brow. Soften out the edges with a fluffy brush.

Step three: line the eyes

Using a coloured eyeliner, we’re using Glisten Cosmetics’ Wet Liner in Lobster, take your liner brush and create a dramatic double wing with a fine, liner brush.

Step four: dot to dot

Blend your lilac and blue shadows down onto the lower lash line, then take a second coloured eyeliner, we’re using Suva’s Hydra Liner in Blue Steel and use draw on symmetrical dots to the face, above the brow and below your wing.

Step five: details

Using a fine liner brush, apply your red liner again to the inner corner of the lid.

Step six: lashes

Finish the look with your favourite mascara or pair of lashes.
