The Holy Grail of lip balms…
Like everyone else I’m also looking for the perfect mascara, lip balm, and gloss (job, jeans and husband go in another department!) and I was sceptical to try this just only because of the price tag. I’m of the generation that remembers when Mac was king; you had your High Street beauty and then you’d get fancy and maybe buy a Mac product twice a year. I still have good memories of Mac back when it was in the silver hardware. Mac is still King and people often sleep on how good their products are, and for me, they are unbeatable in the lip/stick/stain/gloss department so I bought this on a whim, and because of the good reviews. The colour glides on and stays on (relatively speaking) it’s soft and yet bold on the lips. I love the sleek design of the tube and can imagine it will last sometime as the colour wears so beautifully throughout the day. I bought the colour Wild Rebel which is perfect for Autumn or for spooky plum babes, but I’m planning on buying a few of the softer shades for every day wear. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Mac once again proving that they are indeed King.
