That’s why we know you’re going to want and need all the details on By BEAUTY BAY’s latest skincare saviour: the 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution Drops with Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid

Keep reading for all the details on the targeted solution that is basically a facial in a bottle.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

The 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution Drops with Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid works to exfoliate the skin using a blend of AHAs and BHA. This helps to clear dead and dull skin, unclog the pores, and reduce excess oil on all skin types. Yep, all skin types.

WHAT'S IN IT?

The formula features 30% AHA glycolic and lactic acid, plus 2% BHA salicylic acid (click to learn more about these ingredients). Both glycolic and lactic acid are naturally occurring AHAs (alpha hydroxy acid). The only difference is that glycolic has a small molecular size making it the strongest of the AHAs, while lactic has a larger molecular size making it gentler on sensitive skin. AHAs work to exfoliate the surface layers of the skin, breaking down the dead skin cells that sit on the top layers of the skin.

Salicylic acid, AKA the OG of acne skincare, is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) which can penetrate through multiple layers of the skin to break down dead skin cells that clog the pores. This helps to tackle and prevent blackheads and breakouts.

Together, this trio of chemical exfoliants in the 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution Drops help to clear and improve the skin’s texture both deep down and on a surface level.

HOW TO USE IT

There are a lot of how-tos when it comes to incorporating a powerful treatment like the 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution Drops into your routine. The potent nature of the AHAs in the formula means it can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. That’s why this treatment should only be used in the evening and used no more than twice a week. As always, sunscreen should be worn the day after use and sun exposure should be limited in the week following use. So, pleassssse don’t take this on your holidays as a mid-vacation facial.

The treatment is applied evenly to clean, dry (very important that your skin is dry!) skin and left to work for no more than 10 minutes. Please don’t think it will work better if you leave it on for longer; it won’t, and this isn’t safe for your skin. After 10 minutes or less (dependant on how your skin takes to the solution), rinse with lukewarm water. If your skin is damaged or irritated, avoid using the solution until your happy that your skin calm.

Use the 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution Drops once or twice a week (maximum) for one month, then break usage for three months to get the most out of the formula.

That all sounded very scary, but if you use the solution safely and properly, you’ll reap the benefits.
