If you’re a beauty beginner, learning how to achieve a flawless blend, cut a killer crease, or create a blinding highlight comes with time, lots of practice, and plenty of patience. Luckily, BEAUTY BAY’s MUA friends are on hand to show you the basics of really great makeup. In the Beginners Makeup Tutorial series, we’ll be showing you how to perfect all your beauty skills, from eyeshadow to eyeliner, highlighter to contour.

STEP ONE
Start with all your base makeup applied. Setting powder is your final step in your contour.
STEP TWO
Apply a loose banana or setting powder directly under the eyes, down the sides of the nose and drag up to the temples. Use a dense but firm brush to apply.
STEP THREE
Using more banana or setting powder, sculpt out the area underneath your bronzer to create more definition.
STEP FOUR
Allow the powder to sit on the skin for a few minutes before dusting away to reveal a smooth, long-lasting, and defined base.
