This New Haircare Range Is Serious TLC For Colour-Treated Hair

Not long ago, I had a bit of a hair epiphany. When combing through my tresses, I suddenly noticed just how damaged my hair had become as a result of years of bleaching it blonde and neglecting at-home treatments. It wasn’t growing any longer, the ends were weak and split, and it generally looked pretty dull and distressed. The truth of the matter was, I hadn’t been looking after it the way I should have, and things had to change. Cue my hair repair journey.

After trimming some deadwood, swapping the bleach out for a less damaging alternative, and investing in the new Revolution Haircare Plex range, I’m pleased to announce that my hair is now back on track. After a change in attitude and some serious TLC, my locks are thicker, longer, and glossier than they have been for a long time. Not to be dramatic, but I think the Revolution range may well have saved my hair from the hairdresser’s chopping block, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

Keep reading for the lowdown on the products I used to revive my hair.

Revolution Haircare Plex 3 Bond Restore Treatment

The perfect deep treatment when used overnight, Revolution Haircare Plex 3 Bond Restore Treatment is a real life miracle worker. Designed to deeply nourish, repair, and strengthen different layers of the hair fibre, this treatment leaves the tresses feeling silky soft once washed out. For a quicker fix, dampen the hair, apply, and allow 15 minutes to sink in before following with shampoo and conditioner.

Revolution Haircare Plex 4 Bond Plex Shampoo

Swapping my regular shampoo out for the Revolution Haircare Plex 4 Bond Plex Shampoo and conditioner worked wonders for my hair. Gently cleansing, super hydrating, and lathering up like a dream, this shampoo feels like a real treat. Pair with an extra long head massage (because, self-care) for even more of a boost. Side note: It smells unnnnreal.

Revolution Haircare Plex 5 Bond Plex Conditioner

Call off the conditioner search, I’ve found the one. Revolution Haircare Plex 5 Bond Plex Conditioner is enriched with a blend of ultra-softening and super smoothing ingredients that leave the hair feeling healthier and sleeker (and looking brighter and shinier). The trick with this one is to leave it on for enough time to penetrate each layer of the hair for the most effective result, and a little goes a long way – so this bottle will last you ages.

Revolution Haircare Plex 6 Bond Restore Styling Cream

The final step in the Revolution Haircare Plex routine, the 6 Bond Restore Styling Cream is one not to be missed if you experience flyaways like me. Smooth through the mid lengths and ends before styling to protect your hair from colour and heat, whilst reducing frizz and delivering that sleek and under control finish.

Revolution Haircare Mirror Shine Reflecting Serum

You can never have too much shine, right? My hair has a tendency to look limp and lifeless if I don’t add anything to it, so the Revolution Haircare Mirror Shine Reflecting Serum was a straight up game-changer for me. It uses niacinamide to provide an instant boost, keeping the locks looking glossy right up until hair wash day.
