i really wanted to love this, but i dont thinkis very shiny, its not layerable and its stays a bit sticky, i would like more shine, ill keep trying but with eyeshadow underneath is very likely it will mess it up

I just find it expensive for the capacity, and it's a shame the applicator isn't very suitable, it makes the eyeshadows move underneath, it would have been nice to have a pump

This is such an interesting product! It looks very nice on its own, I tried layering it a little over the about-face fractal glitter but it made it crease quite quickly so I think it’s mostly meant to be worn on its own (or layered over something more waterproof maybe!) I did have to reapply after a few hours but thats easy, just like lip gloss really.

I LOVE this product!! It is my new favorite for my go-to easy eye! I think the best way to wear it is by itself on the eyelid without even a primer underneath and whatever level of dramatic under eye look my day allows. I love About Face so much I decluttered all my other eyeshadows and completely switched how I do my eye makeup to About Face only because it allows a whole new creativity level in my makeup art. However, I think it's important to say the vinyl effect formula is completely not waterproof and anything that it even slightly touches looses any of its original waterproof properties. It stays dewy and is kinda like eye lip gloss. I have horrible allergies and the extreme moisture actually really helps with the puffiness I get, so I just love how it feels on my eyes all day long!! However, I don't let it touch my other About Face products or the amazing waterproof qualities all the eye paints, shadow sticks, and gel eyeliners have immediately disappeared. If you have any of the loose glitter powders and layer them with vinyl effect the intense color is everything but it becomes so super easy to transfer and spread everywhere it if you touch it at all! This picture is after an entire 8 hour day of wearing and it's still dewy and fresh looking! Products used: Vinyl Effect on eyelid, Interlude Fractal Brow, Prince's Light Lock Stick brow arch, AF Volumizing Mascara, waterline - Sadgirl Gel Eyeliner, Oxide Matte Shadow Stick, 2002 Pearly Shadow Stick, Smolder Fractal Eye Paint.

Whatever I do, it seems to never dry down and it creates a mess... even when the eye paint is completely dry!! Disappointed.
