No strong smell, softens the
No strong smell, softens the skin and I think I have reduction of the skin peeling after the sunburn my skin sustained.
Very soothing
Only just trying this product due to lack of sun lol , but now after having a couple of days of beautiful sunshine and using this lovely lotion its a definate go to , goes on really nicely ,sinks in without leaving a sticky residue and you can feel your skin thanking you for the relief , my skin feels great after a day of toasting ,you don't need to use loads as it doesn't drag on the skin , making it good value for money , its not highly fragranced , big plus for using on young children and those with sensitive skin,highly recommended
Good enough hydration
This product offers a good hydration with a lightweight texture that isn't sticky. It has a very pleasant texture to it and you can use it after sun exposure or as your regular moisturiser post-shower. It's almost odourless, although I have to say that the very slight hint of smell I got was a bit medicinal for me so I wasn't too fond of it.

Came at the perfect time for the weather, used this the last few days after spending to long in the sun we never get, it easy to apply non greasy and works really well, doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind either fantastic
Very refreshing
It’s been difficult to test this properly because we’ve had zero sunshine in the UK this spring! However, I have used it instead as a normal moisturiser. It’s very pleasant, easy to apply, quite thin so a little goes a long way. No scent that I could make out which makes it suitable to use on the whole family. It had a cooling effect on my legs so I can imagine it would be very refreshing to apply after a day in the sun. Will last for ages because you need so little at a time.
Non-greasy, lightly fragranced after sun
This Avene After-sun is a great product. It's not greasy, not chalky, it goes in the skin easily and really soothes any affects from the sun. It's lightly fragranced so not overpowering, and doesn't leave me feeling gross and heavy or sticking to my clothes. I love it.
Smooth application
Really liked this after sun lotion, it smelt lovely when you opened up the bottle not strong just a gentle fragrance, the application was really good went on really well and didn’t leave a sticky residue, I also used on the kids with no problems at all definitely a winner in our house and will be using it for the summer.
Great protection
Absolutely love this, easy to apply & pleasant smell. Easy to use tube. Long lasting protection that doesn’t dry out your skin. I wouldn’t use anything else now since trying this and highly recommend it
Light and fresh
Finally got the opportunity to use Avene AV After Sun Lotion and I'm impressed. It has a nice, light consistency which absorbed quickly, smelt lovely and left my skin feeling cool, fresh and hydrated. Didn't leave me feeling sticky as I only needed to use a small amount
Immediate soothing relief on sun burn
I have very pale skin and I'm covered in moles, so I'm always worried about sun exposure and I burn easily. In addition to applying sun screen whilst out in the sun, having this after sun is a great comfort. This lotion has a nice, subtle fragrance that is reassuring but not overwhelming. When you apply it to your skin, there's an immediate cooling feeling, which helps take the heat out of any sun burn and provides instant relief to any discomfort. I usually apply it as soon as I'm out of the sun, and then reapply after a nice lukewarm shower. It softens the skin and takes a lot of the redness out of any burns, so you don't feel blotchy and sensitive the next day. I'd recommend everyone use after sun in addition to sun screen, and this lotion is a great option for anyone who suffers from sun burns.
