Perhaps I am not using enough but I haven't experienced the peeling aspect of it. It does feel nice on the skin though and gentley exfoliates more than anything. Gel like nah, its comes out like a white toothpaste cream?

Leave skin visibly smooth and glowy with a soft touch. After only one use. My sking is rosacea prone and can often have an uneven texture. For me this helps that appearance be less noticeable
