The colour is definitely less yellow than in the picture, which for me is what I wanted, based on swatches I had seen online before purchase. I'd personally use it with a dark ish brown lip liner to really add to its essence. As I have a really fair tone skin it is a light shade on me, so the liner helps it. Mac never misses with its formula, the colour pay off is great, dosent feel super drying at all. I've attached some swatches on my hand n lips for reference, hope it helps 👍
