It sounds intense, but centella asiatica, madecassoside and allantoin are in the formula to keep skin calm while the acids work, and there is no added fragrance or colour.

Directions
Use in the evening on cleansed, dry skin. Smooth a thin layer over your face, avoiding your eyes and lips, and leave it to work overnight. Start with two or three nights a week and build up as your skin gets used to it.
This serum contains exfoliating acids, so wear a broad spectrum SPF every morning while you use it, and avoid combining it with other strong exfoliants or retinoids in the same routine. Patch test first if your skin runs sensitive, and stop if you get irritation. Keep out of reach of children.
