Performed far beyond my expectations
I tried this eyeshadow primer for the first time yesterday. I have very hooded eyes as well as oily skin, so any eye primer I use has its work cut out for it. At 0530 I applied my makeup using Pat McGrath eyeshadows. At 1730 when I got home from work it still looked great. There was almost no visible creasing or wear whatsoever. At 2200 I texted my daughter that I couldn't believe how fresh it still looked. After accidentally falling asleep with my makeup on, I got up late this morning to find it still looking better than it usually does after a few hours at work. I hated to take it off even then! Obviously the quality of the makeup makes a difference, but I'm confident that I'll get the best results using this primer with any other kind of shadow. I can't think of a reason for me to ever use anything else - especially considering it felt less drying than other primers I've used and I had no skin irritation (which, even with my oily skin, has been an issue with some of the more heavy-duty primers such as Urban Decay and Too Faced). At 50 I've got a bit of crepey skin around the eyes, and this primer didn't accentuate that as other products are wont to do. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Good but...
Fr: Bon au début puis après un mois c'est en deux phases: huile et crème. sachant que je l'utilise pratiquement tous les jours. Mais fait le taf avec les eyeshadows En: Good at first then after a month it is two-phase: oil and cream. knowing that I use it practically every day. But does the job with eyeshadows
Not for very oily eyelids
I have been on the hunt for a replacement for my UD primer potion which was my go to before they reformulated it. When I saw this I was really excited for this product as I LOVE their matte eyeshadows. However it didn’t meet my expectations and performed as well a much cheaoer NYX primer. It feels very silicone-based and has that slippy texture which isn’t ideal if you have very oily eyelids like me. Also give it a good shake before you squeeze as it can separate in the tube. With all eyeshadows I tried I experienced creasing after 4 hours of wear. I would not buy this again but might be great if you have dry lids.
