Directions
- Vital Proteins Marine Collagen are easily digested and soluble in cold or hot liquids. Combine 1-2 scoops with 336ml of liquid, mix thoroughly. Take once a day.

Noticeable difference
I have been using this collagen for a couple of weeks mainly in my morning coffee. I’ve also tried it with water which I wasn’t overly keen on. I am surprised however at how well this dissolves! Although it’s only been a short period of time so far, I have noticed an increased strength in my hair. I feel I can see an improvement in my skin, it feels like it has a healthier appearance but I’d like to continue for a while longer to see more of a change. I look forward to seeing the improvements further down the line!
Mixes well
Easy to use and mixes well with cold drinks not so well with hot drinks. I can't comment on the effectiveness because I only used one tub because this works out expensive and one tub doesn't last long.
I like this
When I opend the packet I was disappointed to see the container only half full. Therefore increasing to price of the product. I have been using this for about a week now. I started with 1 scoop and increased to the 2 scoops maximum after a couple of days. I added to product to hot coffee. As yet I haven't seen or felt any benefits form the product. I will continue to use the marine collagen to see if any benefits do appear . Update: I have now finished the product and I feel that my nails feel stronger and my skin has improved somewhat during the last month. Maybe it was this product which helped
Glad i have found this product.
While it may be too soon to be seeing any benefits yet i do feel like my skin is looking much improved since i started taking collagen peptides. I am looking forward to seeing if it relieves my joint pain as i carry on taking it. I do not understand why it says it can be taken with cold water, the first time i tried this it went like a gloopy paste and would not mix. It also had an unpleasant taste in water. Now i add one scoop to my morning coffee and there is no taste whatsoever and it is well mixed. I also like the fact that there are no additional additives, just 20g of collagen and 18g of protein, nothing else. I am looking forward to seeing what other benefits this brings with continued use. As i have never used a collagen product before i had no idea what to expect but it is simple to add to my morning routine and i feel it will bring me more benefits over time ...
Does what is says on the tin!
I've recently started using this type of product and are pleasantly surprised by the condition of my hair and skin after just a week or so. It can be added to any liquid as it does not taste, I usually add it to my protein shake after a gym session. Easy to mix and store and comes with a single portion sized spoon to get the perfect amount every time. I would definitely recommend this product to others and will be looking out for other products by the same company and in the same line of items. Update : 12/3/24 After using this for some time now I can confirm that it can be used in many ways and still helps me to get the collagen skin benefiting goodness. I have tried this in my protein shakes but also works well in milkshakes, mixed into pancake mix and on it's own with a splash of malt squash. I am sure my skin is looking firmer, especially on my face and am keen to carry on using this product to see the long term benefits of this powder can provide. I have notcied online that they sell on the go, small sachets as well so I'm looking forward to trying them at some point as well, more to use at work than at home though. Still great and would recommend.
Simple But Effective!
The tub is strong and its design makes the brand easily recognisable. The mouth of the tub made it easy to use the scoop and remove the powder without spillage. Initially I tried it in cold water and didn’t stir it immediately. I would recommend that if you are adding the powder to cold liquids that you stir it in quickly and immediately. When you do this the powder dissolves really well. In water there is a very faint taste but it isn’t unpleasant. It didn’t have any effect on coffee, tea or even in a yoghurt. I have been really impressed with how easy it is to use. As to the effects, I feel like my hair has changed for the better. It is not quite as frizzy! I have only been using it a week but I think my nails are a bit stronger. I am not sure about my skin. I think I’ll need to be using it for longer. I would definitely recommend it and I shall be buying it again!
