Nice palette but surprising light and sheer
This is a nice eyeshadow palette (ABH Spice) but despite looking quite dark, particularly bottom right and left shades, it’s actually more of a lighter nude-ish palette. Even the two dark shades blend out much lighter and are nothing like as dark as the dark brown in Mini Sultry or the darker shades in Soft Glam. So, the look you get is more of a camel beige gold. It looks nice and has lasted well all day, with no creasing on my oily lids. The three glittery shades in the middle row are very sheer with no apparent base colour. The first (left) is a pale, slightly pinkish copper; the second is a light lemony gold with a green hint (pretty and great for highlighting the centre of the lid); and the last shade that looks like it should be a pinky peach, actually comes out as an almost white icy shade. They are all quite sparkly/glittery, with small fine glitter. They give an almost wet look. The shimmer in the middle of the bottom row is lovely, and more like the shimmers in Mini Sultry, being properly opaque. The quality of the eyeshadow is excellent. It’s creamy and blends well, with no patchiness : ) I’m glad I bought this pallette and will get plenty of use out of it, particularly in the Summer. Just bear in mind it’s lightness - hence my 4 stars rather than 5.
