Basic!
Colour is lovely but more peachy than pictured. It doesn't blend too well on cheeks and transfers from lips. I will still use but wont purchase again.

Really drying!
The shades from this range are so beautiful, I had such a hard time choosing what shade to go for. The packaging is gorgeous and matches the lipstick shade perfectly. It definitely feels luxurious. It’s such a shame about the formula. I have been a matte lipstick lover ever since I first took an interest in makeup (14 years ago) and I’m definitely a bold lipstick/soft eye look type of person. Swiping this lipstick on its impressive how opaque it is (Eclair). But it does not last long at all and I’m talking about an hour maybe? I know how to work my way around lipsticks, like sometimes some of them work best when they’re patted on, some of them work better when they’re fully swiped on but this one there is no way of getting the best out of it. I think it might have to do with the fact it’s marketed as a 3-in-1 eyes, lips, cheeks kinda product. It’s a VERY powdery matte. For the record whenever I’m not wearing lipstick I wear lip balm and I regularly exfoliate my lips and I wear a lip mask when I’m sleeping so my lips are always very hydrated. I work busy 11 hour shifts (restaurant) so I need lipsticks that I can rely on and that don’t need topping up often. With this you need to top up frequently as it wears away so fast (I drink through straws as well) but then as you’re adding more it brings the dry flakes to the surface and makes them more prominent making it look like your lips are two tones as the dry patches are darker. The other day I actually had to wipe most of it off in my work’s toilets with toilet roll so I could start a fresh because the flakes were so bad. So disappointed as I was really thinking about buying all the other shades at some point.
Impressive
This looks so lovely as a blush! The only reason for 4 star is it does not stay on the lips for long other than that packing is so chic and quality seems so good.
