The matts are just stunning, buildable, blendable and long lasting. The shimmers do not work so well for me, even if I spray them. But there are a few very interesting matt colours inside this palette that I've not seen in any other palette.

The bad review is for Beauty Bay's packaging and customer services. I get that they avoid using bubble wraps to be eco-friendly, but this palette came with literally no protection at all. So it was not surprising to see that 5 metalic shades were completely broken and the pigments went everywhere making a toal mess. The ironic thing is that the eyeshadow palettes from their own brand do have bubble wrap protections inside the box.
When I took time to complain about their packaging issue (which was not a one-time thing), all I got was standard and repeated reply. Honestly they did not care about my feedback, not to mention that they only offered either a 40% refund or a self-paid return option.
All in all, if you really wanna get a palette from Beauty Bay, please stick to those brands with their own protection inside the packaging.

Honestly this is a really impressive palette. For £35 it's better than what I expected. I thought it would be chalky, hard to blend, pigment would be okay but it's really worth the money. I searched a few random pigments from the palette and they are so lovely.
I've used this a few times since I got it and the colours are really strong, blend well and do last really long (I have oily eyelids and can never be bothered to prime them) so taking that into account, they're really good!
If this is something you want to get because you're adding to your collection or just want a really solid starter palette, this is amazing.
