How To Tint Your Eyebrows

Learning how to tint your eyebrows at home is a skill every beauty obsessive needs to know. Whether you want to reduce your salon visits or just hate filling your brows every morning, home tinting your brows will save you time, money, and a lot of effort.

To help you master the art of DIY tinting, @laureneddymakeupartist is here with a tutorial using Ardell’s Brow Tint that will leave you feeling like a pro brow technician.

STEP ONE

Start by cleaning the skin and brows using a makeup remover, making sure the brows are completely clean.

STEP TWO

Apply a pea sized amount of developer onto the mixing tray before adding 3/4 shakes of the tinting powder.

STEP THREE

Use the spatula to mix the two products together until they form a smooth consistency.

STEP FOUR

Take the spoolie brush and coat your brows with the tint.

Make sure each brow hair is coated with the formula before applying the tint onto the skin to create your perfect brow shape.

STEP FIVE

Saturate a cotton bud or a folded pad with makeup remover to wipe away excess tint. You can also use this technique to carve out the perfect brow shape.

Leave the tint to develop for ten minutes.

STEP SIX

Use a damp cotton pad to remove the tint and enjoy your new brows!

If your brows aren’t as dark as you would like, repeat the steps but leave the formula for five minutes instead of ten.
