It-Inspired Clown Makeup Tutorial For Halloween

If you’re taking your Halloween inspo from all things clown this year, you need to know how make it more chic than IT. The clown is a classic look that never fails as a Halloween win, but how do you make your clown different from everyone else’s clown?

Check out our step-by-step tutorial below to show you how to own the clown-inspired look this year.

Step One

Prep your lids with a concealer base and pack Hot Stuff from BEAUTY BAY Bright Matte 42 Colour Palette across the lid with a medium brush, making sure you leave a blank space below the crease.

Step Two

Using a dense brush, layer Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Velour Liquid Lipstick in shade Unicorn Blood above the crease to create an arched effect.

Step Three

Take a concealer brush, and cut the crease using Milani’s Conceal and Pefect Long Wear Concealer and blend outwards. Allow a couple of minutes to set.

Step Four

Using a small, dense eyeshadow brush, dab Infinity from Makeup Reviolution x Soph Extra Spice Palette over the concealer making sure the shadow is blending evenly.

Step Five

With the BY BEAUTY BAY Liquid Crystal Eyeshadow in shade Moonstone, intensify the metallic effect. Add as much or little as you wish, but we prefer to pack it on.

Step Six

Add Hot Stuff from By BEAUTY BAY Bright 42 Matte Palette to the lower lash, creating an ombre effect. Then add NABLA Serial Liner to the top lid, creating a cat eye flick in the outer and inner corners.

Step Seven

Fill your lashes with mascara and apply your favourite lashes.

Step Eight

Use Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Velour Liquid Lipstick in Redrum to the lips to really intensify the look.

Step Nine

Take a fine line makeup brush and tap on Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Velour Liquid Lipstick in Redrum making sure there are no clumps. Steady hand at the ready! From the corner of you lips, make a winged effect, and drag the wing upwards towards the centre of your eye, then over the top of your brow. Repeat on the other side of your face.

Step Ten

Viola! Go get Halloween-ing.
