How To Do A Low-Key Halloween Makeup Look

As soon as autumn hits, we’ve entered full-on Halloween mode. Spooky szn is finally here and this year, we’re making up for lost time.

If you want to get in on the Halloween action but fake blood, SFX, and all-out makeup looks, then this is the makeup tutorial for you. @alice_crue creates a subtle smoky eye with a pop of green for you to follow for a lowkey, wearable Halloween look.

STEP ONE

Prep the eye lid using the By BEAUTY BAY Eye Base, blending the edges carefully to create your canvas.

STEP TWO

To set the base, apply the shade Slow Motion from the By BEAUTY BAY Nude Matte 9 Colour Palette and blend it out.

STEP THREE

Blend the edges with the shade Nothing Else to create a soft transition.

STEP FOUR

Press the By BEAUTY BAY Liquid Crystal Eyeshadow in Moonstone onto the lid using your finger, then blend it out.

STEP FIVE

Create the base of your eyeliner using the By BEAUTY BAY Crayon Eyeliner in Ink, drawing a winged shape.

STEP SIX

Take the shade Illicit from the Nude Matte 9 Colour Palette and blend it on top of the Crayon Eyeliner, creating a smoky effect. The Crayon Eyeliner underneath will help the colour to pop and last all day.

STEP SEVEN

Next, apply the shade Halcyon from the By BEAUTY BAY Youtopia Pressed Pigment Palette to the inner corner of your eye and blend into the smoky liner. This will add a subtle green pop of colour to your look.

STEP EIGHT

Apply the The Pastels Crayon Eyeliner in shades Minted and Crayon Eyeliner in Ink to the lower lash line to pull the look together.

STEP NINE

Apply lashings of your favourite mascara and your look is complete.
